Brrr!

Well, fall has officially arrived in Kentucky. Actually, with the wind and the rain, it almost feels like we've skipped autumn and gone straight into winter. I know we're in for worse when the snow starts falling though so I'd better not jump ahead just yet...lol.

Not too much going on around here lately. Friday night we went shopping, Saturday we had some friends over and Sunday we went to see Elizabethtown. The ending of the movie was pretty good but I think if I were from here, the movie probably would have offended me. They made E-town look like a little, tiny town full of hicks. The only parts of the area that were included in the movie were the back roads and the old downtown area. It's funny how things can be manipulated to appear so differently when you're not seeing the entire picture.

I picked up Jessica's Halloween costume the other night. She's going to be a witch this year. She couldn't decide on anything else so that's what she finally came up with. I also got some candy, some little plastic bugs and some spider rings and made up some little treat bags for her to take to school. I would have made cookies but they can't bring in anything homemade. At first, that used to tick me off because they used "food allergies" as the reasoning behind the policy but really, the more I look at some of those children, the less I want her eating anything that their mothers made. LOL!

Well, I'd better get back to work. If I don't talk to you before then, I'll take some pics on Halloween and post them next week. Take care! :o)
