Hope everyone had a nice Halloween! We dressed up for work yesterday. It was fun but by the time trick-or-treating ended at 8:00, I'd been in my costume for 12 hours. I couldn't wait to take a shower and put my jammies on! My boss came in yesterday and told us that she gives us all a turkey for Thanksgiving. I was expecting a gift certificate to the grocery store but she handed us each $50 cash instead! That was a nice little bonus. The office manager was also asking when my 90 days was up so she could do my review. So, hopefully in the next week or so, I'll get a raise too. Woo hoo! Another soldier was killed from post over the weekend. Three soldiers were coming home drunk and the one in the rear passenger seat was killed. The driver is being charged with attempted murder. Last night, when I was coming home from work, there was a pile-up right inside the gate. Four or five cars were involved. It's getting so I'm going to be afraid to be one the roads around here! :o( On a brighter note, here is a pic of Jessica and I decked out for Halloween. She's doing really well and is loving school and SAS. We're back at Ft. Knox, KY and we are still enjoying it! It is so nice to be back in civilization. I am working as an Compliance Officer for a mortgage broker. Jon is a Drill Sergeant and is keeping himself very busy!
