I was going to title this entry "TGIF" until I realized that it's not Friday yet...LOL. I guess since we're going to have a long weekend, I'm getting a little ahead of myself. It's been a big week for the Sylvesters. Jon finally enrolled in college! He signed up with eArmyU. They give him a laptop and materials, plus they pay up to $4,500 tuition each fiscal year. As long as he completes 12 credit hours in 3 years, everything is free. He's going to start taking his first class at the end of the month and is really excited about it. I got my 90-day review at work yesterday. My boss had really nice things to say. She said that I had far exceeded my job expectations, gave me a raise and told me that I'd be promoted in either January or February. Nice! Today I have to go have my pictures done. They want to add me to the company's ad in the local monthly real estate guide. (Really not something I wanted to do but couldn't think of a polite way to refuse...lol!) Tomorrow, we are ALL off of school and work. Amazing! Not sure what we're doing yet but I'm sure we'll figure something out. I'd better get back to work. She's doing really well and is loving school and SAS. We're back at Ft. Knox, KY and we are still enjoying it! It is so nice to be back in civilization. I am working as an Compliance Officer for a mortgage broker. Jon is a Drill Sergeant and is keeping himself very busy!
